BIKE RIDE FOR BREAST CANCER (2018)
Wayne Hanson planned to complete The Way of the Roses, a 170 miles bike ride to raise money for Breast Cancer Care after his wife was diagnosed with cancer in 2017. I edited this video as an Assistant Video Journalist for Deadline Digital. The video was picked up by a local newspaper.
I directed this video for my final year project at Sheffield University. This short documentary tells Matthew Phillips' story. He is an incredible rock climber despite missing his right arm bellow the elbow. He recently came first place in his category in the Paraclimbing World Championship 2018 .
AT ARM'S LENGTH (2018)
This video news release captured the birth of a new festival in Barnsley — Dancing Town. I filmed the event as well as interviewed some of the participants. This was made when I was part of the Deadline Digital team.

I filmed and edited this video for Deadline Digital as part of a campaign to recruit more teachers in Bradford. Charlotte teaches in a special needs school and told us why she loved her job.

GLASSWORKS (2018)
CHEQUE HANDOVER FOLLOW-UP (2018)
Wayne Hanson and his wife, Caroline, raised more than £2,000 for Breast Cancer Care and Little Fox's, another charity dedicated to improving cancer patients' lives. In this video, Wayne and Caroline hand over a cheque to Little Fox's at Barnsley Hospital. I filmed and edited this video as well conducted all the interviews. The video went on to be viewed 10,000 times on Facebook.
During my term as Head of Music for Forge TV, I directed, filmed and edited a four-episode Youtube series. I was helped by Forge TV members for camera operating as well as sound engineering for some of the episodes. This series went on to win two awards: a National Student Television Association Award for Best Light Entertainment as well as a Forge Award for Best Video.
THE MUSIC ROOM (2016-2018)
TRAMLINES FESTIVAL (2017)
As Head of Music, I also had to organise the coverage of the local Sheffield music festival, Tramlines. I organised several live sessions for pre-coverage as well as interviews with the rest of the Forge Music team. Here are a few examples. The coverage went on to win a Forge Award for Best Coverage. Forge Awards are internal and given with the student media society.
